Life needs balance

You need a 7 Day BrainwashWe’re complex creatures, aren’t we? Thank goodness!

We have so many needs, it’s a wonder we ever get half of them met. And the fact is, a lot of the time, we don’t. We want balance in our lives, so why not make some?

Think about your areas of need. You’ll have personal growth needs. Family needs. Spiritual ones. Health and physical ones. Career needs and financial needs.

Take a look at that list. Which of those areas do you let go? Do you, for instance, put yourself bottom of the pile before everybody else? If you do, schedule a time this week that is just for you, and make that appointment for a massage or to go shopping for something frivolous. And no matter what happens, keep the appointment – with yourself.

Perhaps you don’t exercise much. Schedule a swim, a walk, a game of tennis.

And notice I’m saying schedule it. Because if you don’t do that, you’ll sure as eggs let it go again. Actually write it in your planner or diary, and be there!

You’ll be amazed how good you feel when you just give yourself something. After all, there’s no one on Earth more important than you. Or had you forgotten that?
