No more buts

You need a 7 Day BrainwashListen, I have an idea.

For the next 24 hours, (longer if you like), banish the phrase “Yes, but …” from your speech. You know how it goes. You wish you had more, did less, were in different circumstances, and your thoughts go round in a circle, until with a big sigh you say, “Ah, well. If only. I could. Hmmm. Yes, but …” and off you go, telling yourself all over again why you can’t achieve, can’t leave, can’t have be or do.

You’ll discover that “Yes, but … ” is fear in disguise.

What if you started asking yourself instead, “How could I find a way? (And enjoy the process?)”

What was that? Just for a moment there I thought I heard you say, “Yes that’s a good idea, but …”

Yes, but you didn’t, did you?
