Christianity is not normally associated with the supernatural as we tend to think of it, but the very definition of supernatural is a manifestation or a force attributed to something that science (i.e. science as we know it) cannot explain. Can our science explain the apparitions of angels, of Jesus’ resurrection or of negative entities?
With God, all things are possible
The key is remembering that we are living in a limited world, but God is not. There is a saying that goes “with God, all things are possible”. It simply means that when we let go of trying to do everything ourselves and do it with God’s help (this is referred to as co-creating with God in Unity Church), we can achieve anything we put our minds to. 
This does not mean that we should expect immediate results as God’s time does not work the same as our perception of time. This simply means that if we keep our focus on doing it in the way that we are guided by God instead of trying to do it our own way, something amazing will happen sooner or later.
Also, when we sincerely ask for guidance and then do our best to follow that guidance, the result often will not be what we expect. It will exceed our expectations. For example, before her spine fractured as a result of her diving into the Chesapeake Bay, Joni Eareckson Tada was considered a potential candidate for the Olympics. During the first several months following her accident, she experienced anger, depression, and doubt. She has also since experienced breast cancer and survived that as well. Yet instead of remaining bitter about her unexpected life change, Joni instead chose to figure out her life’s purpose and live it from God’s perspective. To this day, she is a well-known Christian inspirational author and speaker and even has a talent for painting with her teeth. Her physical body may not be healed but through choosing to see it from God’s perspective, Joni’s soul was completely transformed.
We Have Our Own Purpose in Life
Each of us, as individuals, come into this world with a purpose and only we can figure out what that is and act accordingly. Have you ever noticed that some of the most unhappy people in this world are those without a sense of real purpose? In many cases, they are actually convinced that they don’t have a real purpose, which leads to feelings of loneliness and depression. Which can also lead to turning to drugs, alcohol and sometimes even crime. Many even develop an attitude of “what’s the point, I’m going to die sooner or later anyway?”.
Joni Eareckson Tada is a prime example of someone who initially felt as if she had no purpose but finally found it by allowing herself to be spiritually transformed. Allowing ourselves to be spiritually transformed is to allow the supernatural-ness of God to take over in our lives. And that is the ultimate miracle.
Was it Jesus the man who was performing those healings and other miracles?
No! It was Jesus allowing God the Spirit to demonstrate the work through him. Of all the things Jesus is/was, he is/was an ultimate example of true closeness to God. People and things don’t work miracles, only God does. To think otherwise is not only plain foolishness, but it’s also an attempt to take credit for that which properly belongs to God.
