Long ago I had a very good friend, and he had this theory that I enjoy discussing with him a lot, we used to question lives mysteries and in this he would like to think that life is a place, if I can call it that, where the souls come to, over and over again until perfecting themselves, reach supreme deification and finally been allow in heaven. He also believed that some of us would be part of each other live in this earthly return, but maybe through different connections, meaning, my father, for example, could have been just a friend or a friend’s friend in a past life.
I liked the idea that I would be reunited with my friends and family a few more times or who knows how many more times would I need to Nirvana.
Karma is pretty much the principle of causation; every action generates a force of energy that returns to us in like kind. And when we choose actions that bring happiness and success to others, the fruit of our karma is happiness and success. What we sow is what we reap. And this results” fruits” are called Karma-Phala.
Karma is determined by everyday decision
Quite simply Karma is determined by everyday decision, in Buddhism, you are expected to feel sincere compassion for all living things, truly find beauty in nature, feel happy for the small things that happen in your life and understand that things are what they are. And to understand and respect the Endless Knot which symbolizes the interrelation of everything.
It’s about you not worry about your own happiness, but sacrifice if necessary to bring happiness to others, in this chain of action, Karma would come back to you as happiness.
As Buddha taught:
“Do not think a small sin will not return in your future life.”
In here there are references to reincarnation, but this only applies when dealing with religion, when you are a true believer, or some may call it optimist to think that we will ever come back and death really isn’t the end, truth is, and here is just my personal belief, we will pay for our sins in this life for it’s the only one that we can be sure of having.
