Happy Birthday Libra, the most balanced sign in the zodiac. On the rare occasions that they’re unbalanced… watch out! There’s nothing worse than Libra having a bad hair day. The sign of the scales loves harmony, diplomacy, and all things nice. Libra hates life’s little curve balls and the ripples of stress they tend to create.
The number one googled celebrity of the moment happens to be a Libra: Kim Kardashian. Sexy Kim, a hyper-driven Libra, manages to maintain that special “je ne sais quoi” at all costs, keeping those coveted google rating current.
So what drives Kim? Libra’s are not generally known as overly ambitious types, but with the right arrangement of planets in their chart, they can be. For example, Kim has Sagittarius rising. This means that Jupiter (Sag’s ruling planet) helps her to push personal boundaries and explore new arenas easily while lending a larger than life persona… all with zero inhibitions. The Kim:
- 2 oz ruby port (Brotherhood Winery makes a great port)
- 1 oz elderberry syrup*
- 1 oz black currant juice
- ½ oz pressed lemon juice
- 5 dashes angostura bitters
Shake all over ice. Strain into martini glass. Serve up. Garnish with a twist.
